late last week was great as John K's Jupiter shots have shown however back to pretty ordinary now. l haven't been using the LX lately, doing a bit of star hopping with the 12" dob.

The image appears to have a nucleus, just below the centre, displayed as a white spot when primarily the rest of the planet appears bluish, why is this happening in the image, is it part of the processing method?

Right so a single shot, pretty amazing, can you see the white spot I was referring to? It's probably just the way the monitor represents each pixel under magnification.
