I purchased the book from the Springer website about $145.65. Aussie dollars .they print and send out book.they offer free freight .Now sit back wait and see what turns up. Crossed a Fingers,.. Tony.

Got a reply from Springer .I scrubbed some of my details. But the shipment seems to be on The Go. Fingers crossed . I lost a book sent from the U.S. before Christmas . But the company refunded my Money . No Hassles. Reguards Tony.

Hello no not yet .Sitting back waiting .no confirmation yet that they have landed in Australia.Fingers crossed.. before Christmas 2019. I ordered a book through Amazon from a bookSupplier in USA. It disappeared .Probablly never made it out of The States. The book company were great refunded my money . I went to William Bell books. ordered it again got it in under 3 weeks... I not panicking with All the S..t going on anything could happen. Tony..

Very comprehensive indeed.
All three volumes weigh 7 kilograms
Ordered through Amazon,delivered 8 days earlier than quoted.

I am still waiting . But getting some A1 help from Springer. My books have gone through customs in Australia . When they arrive .I will tell the greatest Story ever Told..I put my troubles down to the amount of parcels and freight back logged due to the Lockdown. Tony..

They have provided a digital version in meantime, but I have yet to download it..as digital is not the same to me,.....unfortunately as I have too many books in the house even after a small clean up some months ago.

Just ordered a paper copy from Springer and downloaded the free digital version--1 mere 1.8GB! I don't think digital is practical with a book of this size, but it's nice to have.

Ken, I was finally allowed to open mine on Friday and spent yesterday going over the three volumes. Safe to say that these are the most complete books on our celestial companion yet.

From Luna lore to Apollo to Artemis. The lunar surface features are covered in sequence from 1 day old Moon onwards. Excellent details on lunar ‘ geology’ etc etc etc:thumbsup:

Well worth the wait.....
