Thor’s Helmet with a rich field of clusters.

I have broken my guide camera so guided with the ASI1600 and taken with a DSLR. The APSC makes guiding interesting.

I need to revisit this with the c8 I think.

10x5-10 min images and a few darks at f.5.9 102mm.

Quite pretty, but unless you have a reducer for the C8, I haven't bothered
with the math, but I'm guessing that the f/10 would pretty much cancel
out the extra aperture.

Thanks Raymo. I have the standard .63 c8 reducer so I don’t do much without it. I am limited by the quality of the 35 yo mirror. A new fast newt would be a good option but I don’t have one of those just yet.

The 8" f/5 Newts come up fairly often in the classifieds here.
