5 x 30s 50mm f/2.2 ISO 1600. in camera noise reduction enabled, no flats
or biases, stacked and processed in DSS. Tracking courtesy of Nano Tracker.
The bloated brighter stars are due to very slight condensation on the camera lens; I quite like it.

Looking good Raymo!
You appear to be picking up some of Barnards Loop in there too

Thanks Colin, my aim was to show the myriad of stars that just 30sec subs
can bring forth. The loop really starts to show with 60s subs using the same
rig and exposure details.

Hi Ben, yes been a while. I only have my little Nano Tracker now, got sick of
lugging out and setting up my gear, only to then be immediately clouded out.
How are you going, still got the same gear?
cheers Raymo

That's a nice shot. Constellations are something else I'm yet to image.

Nice clean shot Raymo. I'm still using my Nano Tracker on occasions when I can't be bothered dragging out the big rigs. I remember you saying you had difficulty capturing the Witch Head nebula but I stretched your image on my phone editor and you can just see it coming through.
Hi R,
I love the "accentuated" main stars in the constellation.... It really makes the image. Maybe we should all go out and fog up our lenses.
Best

Thanks everybody; maybe I could market adjustable lens foggers JA, and
buyers could choose the amount of enlargement of their stars.
Mickoid, I don't imagine you'd remember, but I did manage to get a
clearly defined Witch, albeit in an otherwise horrible image.
Yes LostInSp_ce, the colours in that part of the sky are fairly strong.
Tony, keep up your excellent work, constellations can come later, when old age forces you to downsize your rig.

A lovely widefield of Orion from your archives Raymo. There's something special about seeing the little gems of M42 & IC 434 in the one image.
Cheers,
Tony

Great capture on your little rig, especially the star colours
You must have some nice stable clear skies over in the west
Well done !!

Thanks Tony and Martin.
Martin, we get a summer window of about 7-8 weeks of mostly good skies
[bortle 2-3] and the rest of the year about two or three nights per month.
