Here's some nightscapes from earlier this year. The first is while waiting for the moon to set and the second is a startrail taken while accidentally collecting images of the running chicken nebula (which I mistook for carina).
Waiting for moonset is a single 30s ISO200 processed in DarkTable while the startrail is:
Camera: Sony NEX5, Sigma 19mm f/2.8
Composition: 3 stacked exposures
Total exposure: ~55 minutes (f/2.8 ISO400)
Tracker: not tracked
Processing: DarkTable (https://www.darktable.org/), StarStaX (https://markus-enzweiler.de/software/starstax/), GIMP (https://www.gimp.org/" rel="noreferrer nofollow)
