Hi - I was viewing Jupiter's Galilean Moons this morning from South Australia - please can someone identify each for me as seen in actual view, not inverted: there were 2 below Jupiter, 2 above, fairly evenly spaced; crescent moon was south of Jupiter and quite close. Thank you!:)

Answer from a friend just now: top to bottom:
Ganymede
Europa
[Jupiter]
Io
Callisto.

From top to bottom: Ganymede, Europa, Io, Callisto. The crescent moon was below and to the right.

You should install a sky program like Stellarium (which is free for Windows, Mac and Linux) and that will let you do it for yourself. Once you've set it up with your location and the date/time of viewing, just zoom in on Jupiter and it will show you the moons and their names. I suggest pausing first, so the view doesn't change too fast when zoomed in.
