FS: 8" dob + extras (bris) PRICE DROP - $450

it will be a sad day for me when i sell this scope as i have only just got into astronomy, been on a few dark sky nights and met some really great people. but i'm tight for $$$ :(

not only did i get done for speeding in a badly signed area at Coolum, but a week after this i ran up the back of a lady in my car. :(

What i have for sale is a near brand new Skywatcher 8" dob.
Included in the sale:
2X Barlow Lens. 1 1/4". Packet Reads Celestron Omni. Model #93326 - Purcahsed new for approx $105
6mm Plossl EP 1 1/4 . Celestron Omni Model #93317 Purchased new for approx $85.
10mm 1 1/4Plossl Ep and 26mm 1 1/4Plossl EP that came with the telescope.
2" to 1 1/4" adapter.
Sturdy Dobsonian Stand.

I still have all packaging for telescope and stand if buyer wishes to organise delivery, but i would much perfer local pickup as the items are BIG.

Everything is in perfect condition like the day i bought it.

Ah Jase that's a bugger, sorry to hear of your misfortunes. I hope the Coolum incident didn't occurr on your way to Noosa after our gathering at Ron's place last month.

It's a real shame to see you selling your new pride and joy, if I hear of anyone intersted I'll send them your way.

If you're still available then come up to Ron's next month again anyway, scope or no - there's always room for an extra pair of eyes around the existing scopes anyway.

As per my "Wanted" post (http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/showthread.php?t=18181 ), I wasn't actually looking for a complete scope and accessory pack - but just the OTA and rings of a SW-600. Only problem is that you don't have rings being a dob and I don't really need the accessories.

Anyhow - can we discuss via PM?

it's still available.

but as my financial situation turns out, i'm now not worried if it sells.

i have relisted this on ebay at a cheaper price if anyone is still interested, but that price doesn't include the barlow and 6mm.

if you want them offer me a price around the $450 mark and we can go from there.

one again.. local pickup is perfered as the box for the scope is HUGE . and you would have to arrange postage yourself.
