I really like this shot Martin, particularly the first one which incorporates the nebula as well...

Very pretty picture mate & stars all look nice & tight... lovely work

Cheers

Thanks Carlton
Appreciate the comments
Another 20 or 30 subs would have been nice and resulted in a little bit more nebulosity around the cluster and top right hand area but the focus was drifting a bit after an hour and had to correct it. Also my auto focuser was playing up and needed a tweak with a tiny Allen key to get it going again , probably due to not being used for some time.Lots of tiny issues which brought me closer in time to a rising 60% waning moon, so it cut my night short ( I don’t use filters on my DSLR )
This seems silly but it was great to get out under clear Sydney bortle 8 skies again after a long time ( almost 3 months) although I did manage to image from my weekender ( Bortle 3 ) down south during January but only 2 nights
Cheers
Martin
