This is the other image I captured whilst testing the new Esprit 150. Taken with an Atik One 6.0 this is 5 x 30 min subs through the 3.5nm Ha filter that Baader have. It is the central region of NGC3372. Again minimal processing as I was more interesting in making sure everything was working together with the new scope.

The first image seems to have been affected by the conversion to JPEG. This is a bit better but still impacted by the conversion.

oh wow, that's pretty good!
That supports a bit of extra stretch.

Thanks Marc. I should have stretched it further, I am hoping to get some OIII and SII to add to it over the next couple of months as weather and time permit. It is looking like flood rain here tomorrow so no chance of any imaging for a while.

My first impression was also that a bit more stretch would be good—or perhaps an s-curve in curves to up the contrast. Still, there is plenty of time to do that with more data. Detail is good.
