Very short animation from 9 March - 8 frames across 30 mins. First time I've attempted this - tried doing it in Photoshop.

Nice animation. :) That's some nice detail and the animation is quite smooth. I hope you try more of these in the future:thumbsup:

Nice one Graeme. Becareful of the very slippery animation slope. It has been known to put people in little white jackets trying to get that perfect animation.

Next thing ou know you will be trying for Triton orbiting Neptune ;)

I think I can see it's an art for obsessives.

30 mins to capture the video, several hours to process the frames, another hour for the animation ...and it runs for a little over a second.

 yep, you've got it

Were still waiting for our good mate Dennis to come up with 6 months worth of animation for either pluto or 2003UB313 ;)

spot on! and surface detail!

.....that cheeky dennis sets up scope, sets up capture program and then goes inside for 3 hours. Then comes out and the object is dead centre!!!!
