EQ8 Power Cord

I've just tried to set up my EQ8 and found that the supplied power cord is designed to insert into a cigarette plug. As mine is going to be permanently mounted on a pier does anybody know of a power cord with a normal 3 pin transformer to step it down from 240v to 12v that will plug into the mount?
I'm going to assume there are adaptors to go from a normal 3 pin transformer to a cigarette lighter plug?

Hi Steve

You may want to replace the cigarette type connectors. Many of them come loose over time.
