Hi all
Got out my trusty meade Cometracker 6 inch Schmidt Newtonian, which cost me around $500 brand new many years ago now.
3x5 mins ISO 400, with UHCS filter and MPCC coma corrector. Modded 350D, hand guided using an ex halleys comet special 3 inch K Mart brand catadioptric guidescope. (That was $90 new)

there seems to be a collimation issue top left. The scope has no adjustment for primary mirror collimation, only the secondary. Ive collimated it as best as I can with a single spot laser collimator but that might not be the most accurate way with a schmidt newt.
Mirrors are green plate glass, as is the uncoated corrector plate
Guess if I was keen Id send them to Mark Sutching to be refigured more accurately, then on to Chi Qin to be silver coated, and the corrector plate a/r coated.

The coma present now is less than half of what would be present without the MPCC.
