View Full Version here: : Canon DSLR modification
Hi. Does anyone know where I can get a 600D modified for astro (full spectrum)?
I'm in Sydney, so it would be great if there's someone that offers this service here, but happy to send further afield. I know there's a guy in Hong Kong, as well as some in the US.
Thanks

You can get a used nikon d5300 plus conversion from Lifepixel for US$554 plus post.
You can also get your 600D modified at Camera Clinic in Melbourne, but the 600D is much more noisy than the nikon.
I've kept our Canon 600D as a daytime camera and moved to a nikon d5600(similar to d5300) to get away from the noise.
I modified the d5600 myself using the Lifepixel guide; they also have a guide for the 600D if your good with a screwdriver and tiny screws :)

Hey Matt I know it is not a 600D however I did two of my Canon 5D's using this tutorial, it is not that hard really if one follows the instructions properly, maybe there is a tutorial for your 600D.
