Well may as well keep sharing them with everyone.

My best Plato yet. 2 versions: single point and 5 x alignment points in Registax 4. Unhappy with some of the joining but it's a sharper image across the entire frame. 300 frames processed and stacked.

Hey John

They are absolute crackers those images. Amazing detail and so sharp - not to mention the image scale.

Well done!

Cheers

Dennis

PS - did you have a go at the Rille inside the Alpine Valley?

Excellent Work John! I like the second one best - not so processed?

Both shots are superb, and of course the second is sharper as you point out. Looking at that image, is like looking back in time, first the original surface, then the large crater with the smooth inner surface, then later on small impact collisions to form smaller craters within the larger crater....it's just like a ticking clock as far as I'm concerned.

John, your images of the moon are absolutely amazing, and this one of plato is no different, you really have captured it well.
