For sale is a Tele-Pod head with handle plus 'Horizon' tripod (non-Tele Vue) and Manfrotto tripod bag MBAG80P that can carry both (not attached).
Tele-Pod head
The head is in good working condition. It has both 3/8"-16 and 1/4"-20 holes underneath for attaching to camera tripods. There are a few scratches from normal use as shown in the photos.
Manfrotto bag MBAG80P
The Manfrotto bag is in near new condition except for minor dust on the outside. These retail for around $150 new.
Tripod
The tripod is lightweight but reasonably substantial (roughly equivalent to a Manfrotto 190) and has a 1/4"-20 male thread (not the usual 3/8"-16). Note that the tripod has some issues:
i. The plastic retractable feet have lost their thread and are loose. This means that only the spiked feet can be used, so fine for grass or other soft surfaces but not so good for concrete.
ii. The centre column crank handle is missing. It can still be cranked up but requires a bit more effort and care if a scope is attached. A new handle could be fashioned fairly easily I imagine.
iii. One of the lower leg locks doesn't grip securely. Therefore I'd recommend only using the upper two sections.
In light of these issues I am including the tripod for free to anyone that wants the whole package.
I am offering two purchase options:
1. $200 for the whole setup incl. bag (pickup only)
2. $150 for the head and handle (willing to post)
