I run a Skywire from my iPad to the SW Synscan handset (no, I do NOT intend going WiFi or Bluetooth thanks), and used to run it rom an old iPhone 4 with the 30 pin connector - nice and secure. Now I am using an iPad Mini with a Lightning to 30 pin adaptor (my Skywire is old :) ) and everything works PERFECTLY, but my only concern is unplugging/disconnecting accidentally.

Is there a way to secure a Lightning cable so it is not as easy to pull out? A loop-back so the cable tightens without pulling out the connector?

Now, I know someone is going to say go BT or WiFi - no, I'm not! :)

Normally the lightening connector is quite a firm connection.
Check carefully with a toothpick the female end of the device hasn’t got fluff compacted in it! Somebody suggested this at work with my 5s, and sure enough, full of fluff. Hopefully easy fix! ;)

No, mine is tight, but it is still a LOT easier to pull it out accidentally than the old 30 pin.

I designed a cable clamp today, so I'll get Stefan to 3D print it for me :) Easy really.
