This has very limited data (compared to Diego's wonderful version and Lee's upcoming version) but I was happy in the end to get something between the clouds and smoke haze. 43x180s Ha 5nm, 30x180s OIII 3nm, with about a half hour of very poor RGB for the stars (Moon around 87%). Taken with my 8” Quattro, a ZWO ASI600MM-Pro (gain 200, -10°) on an EQ6-R. Also a starless version for some fun. Astrobin: https://www.astrobin.com/full/dyr0zs/C/

As I said on astrobin; nice one, Ben! The newer revision looks even better. Are you still planning on getting more data?

I'm gathering yet more data on this one tonight, but I'm using 6nm Ha at full moon in mediocre seeing so I'm not sure if I'll even end up using any of it... think I'm gonna be getting a lot of so-so data on this one.

Cheers Nikolas and Lee. Definitely keen to add more data. Getting to that point where teasing detail out of noise surpasses any of my technical ability and it becomes a frustrating round of reprocesses that achieve very little. Best solution to me seems to be more data. The full moon I think is a little too close to target and predicted clouds are edging me towards a Jim Jarmusch retrospective or a rerun of the Battle Star Galactica series!

New version. Reprocessed to keep noise down.

Got a tiny bit more data but clouds have been constant for weeks. I think its processed a bit better now too?

I like that last rendering. Nice colour and sharp detail.

Nice to know the processing is heading in a good direction! More data certainly helps, even just the extra couple of hours.

Cheers :-)

Last processing job is even better, Ben, very well done! Lots of great detail, lovely contrast and colour. You've brought out lots of faint stuff as well, which is pretty amazing given the integration time.
