Is a program that enables combining images from different scopes.
I am wondering how you would use it..what could be gained thru say combining images gained thru say an eight inch reflector with a Nikon DSLR and an 80mm with a zwo cooled mono using each of all the filters??
You will gather more data for a given time I guess...would it turn five hours into ten?
And then I am thinking..I have three scopes all I need is another mount and I have an d canon DSLR 12 meg that I could stick on something or buy a one shot colour...
If there is a way to make it work I could see tripling my exposure times...it would be great if it worked. Here is an attempt using the software ... I have forgotten what I used but I gathered from any image I had and fed them in basically...

Software worked well , nice looking M42 with plenty of detail
Colours are bit odd though , emerald green and turquoise ??
Great to see someone experimenting with different programs
Always something new to tinker with
Well done !

Thanks Marin. I have about five colour interpretationsI was more interested in combining something with that software. I don't know how to really use it properly.
But I am going to try and build an image over time..concentrate on particular parts..like I am doing the core but later want to catch that detail that simply is not there where it's just black..and get some star reduction software and fake them.

Very ghoulish colours but quite a dramatic effect that really stands out from the norm. I like what your doing Alex always trying something new, I really think the contrast has brought out some nice detail in the outer nebulous areas which
makes for a great image- keep going I’m sure you will work it all out and surprise us all with a stunning combo soon with your latest trick.

Thanks Anth
And part of this turns out the be on what you can get done on short exposure..Some sins were a minute but mostly 30 seconds. Certainly longer exposures will produce better results but I am so happy you can get this with short exposure and also no darks or flats which must improve things...and when I get settled longer guided subs. Just can't find enough time for it..brought back most stuff so I could work on things.
I won't edit sins I typed subs but auto correct slipped in sins I think that will do.

Sounds interesting Alex. The fact that you can throw a mixed bag of subs at it is pretty impressive. The level of detail in those M42's are amazing. I like when you post these experiments my favourite is the first one with the softer hues. Thanks for sharing!

...with no comments as to how to do it I can only continue.

Thanks.

They are received well by folk uninterested in astronomy...makes them wonder I guess..
So my cartoon approach works for the ordinary folk.
.
I do plan on producing normal images when I get everything organised.

Love your artistic licence with the colour interpretations Alex. There are a multitude of images out there of M42 and other bright nebulae and though they are all worthy images, after seeing so many it is interesting to see someones' alternative views on how they should be presented.

Hi Alex,

Like it very much. Beautiful colors and lots of details. "Out of the box": oh yeah!!!

The wispy appearance is attractive Alex and I guess it's a result of the relatively short exposures.

Thank You

Short seems ok for detail but it is limiting.

this image is a combination of all my data via zwo with 80mm and 200 mm app scopes trying to find if I can learn and use registar I let the colour run out of control.

Final..for now...some nasty black..I really need to start afresh with data from two scopes.

Here is ETA..I threw most of what I had from two different scopes..didn't worry about colour as some images were actually completed images..just wanted to throw a lot at it to see how fast it was..anyway I came up with this which I don't know is better or worse than stuff from the originals but it seems better although I must work on the star size...next area to work on.

Number three was just from one scope and camera..the others via Registar.
