Hi all,

I managed to gather just 4 hours of Ha data a few weeks ago in a momentary break in the smoke haze. This is the first light with my new ZWO183MM-Pro and 7 position EFW with ZWO narrowband filters. I realised I haven't got the spacing between my new OAG and the camera quite right. I managed to get them both to come to focus by adding a spacer between the OAG and camera but it is too wide so the camera comes to focus pretty much at the zero position. This meant I had to manually focus. I'll grab a set of spacers from Bintel after the new year to fix that issue.

The details are:

Gain - 111
Offset -10
Temp - -15C
48x5 minute subs
WO Star 71, CEM40, ZWO183MM-Pro, ZWO 1.25" 7nm Ha filter

I can't wait to get more data on this target.

I’m sorry that you got no replies. That’s not nice! How do you like the CEM40?

Good effort, here. Some ringing of the larger stars from deconvolution perhaps? Could do with a bit more contrast as well. Keep up the good work!

Looks pretty good. I didn't realise at first it was an old post and thought its a bit early in the year to be imaging the Rosette yet but it is starting to rise up in the early morning.
