I remember Bill very well, we communicated about Comet seeking for many years. Those were the years of Jack Bennett and Jose a s Campos

I corresponded with him a few times after he attended the Queensland
AstroFest.
He sent me quite a comprehensive file on
his Comet Hunting methods and discoveries
which I still have.
A proper gentleman.
