Although it was looking nice and still as I was collimating the scope this morning, it was all over in a matter of 10 mins.
The wind picked up and wisps of high cirrus began appearing. With the mirror at 2.5 degrees above ambient and seeing at around 3-4/10, it was always going to be tough.
So what I am posting looks more like a colour pallette of watercolours rather than an image but it's better than nothing I guess, and keeps the observing log for this Jove apparition ticking along.
