Just tapped in today after hearing of your progessing Aussie forum. Congrats Mike on a terrific website and good luck with the much needed Ice In Space astro gathering in May.

Interests: Economical imaging and the Solar System (but also some basic DS imaging)

Based in Sydney - the land of obtrusive lighting.

Great to see a 'real' Oz amateur forum in the works.

Hi Steve, great to see you here, thanks for joining up and saying g'day.

For those that don't know, Steve is a legend around the amateur community.. he's been doing video astrophotography for a long long time, and is also the author of "The Night Sky", "Exploring the Moon" and some other great books for amateurs.. as well, he contributes to at least one of the local mags as well. Check out his website, there's some great stuff there and some fantastic images.

I didn't realise you were based in Sydney now, I thought you were still in brisbane.. as seeker said, any chance of you coming up for the May 7 star party?
