Thanks Gary, that was very interesting and a good read, especially with the included animations.:thumbsup:

Having recently managed to image Nereid, I don't think I will be having a go at this much more esoteric pair, unless of course, Argo Navis can plot them for me.;)

I saw your capture of Nereid a couple of months back.

Absolutely fantastic! :eyepop:

Given the Keck, only when fitted with adaptive optics, was able to
discern Thalassa after image processing, but was unable to locate
Naiad, it looks like a bigger telescope would be needed for Christmas
or the equivalent breadth in ingenuity, skill and patience.

Any diffraction limit one might bump against aside, the later
qualities you have demonstrated to have in droves.

Hi Gary

Watching the animations reminded me somewhat of the ancient philosophical doctrine of the Music of the Spheres, attributed to the Greek philosopher Pythagoras.:)
