I have ummmed and arrred about posting this image. For the data I have I don't think it is that great and I have some issues with the camera and calibration frames.

Worth posting, looks pretty good  The colours do look a little skewed I guess?..bit of magenta (I have been known to bias magenta too ) ..maybe play with that?..:confuse3:

Lovely.
The distant galaxy cluster at 1 o'clock and the famous chain toward 2 o'clock justify the wider field.

Thanks Mike and Trish. The background cruise is probably the best part of it.
Hi Mike, I said it was a shocker!

Hi Bart,
Keep going on this one :thumbsup: it’s a good start & some more solid data is needed. :)
I did 30+ hrs on this thing from several dark sites and it still wanted more!
It’s a really dim, low surface brightness target, but beautiful if you persist.
Cheers
Andy
Thanks Andy. I may have a fix for my camera so interested to get more, waiting on the weather to co-operate.

Hi Marc. Thanks for dropping in for a look and I appreciate your comments. I am trying to collect more data although I'm not sure how it will go, Ive found another galaxy that will look good in a 5 inch refractor.

Hi Gray, how did you go with the oscilloscope? I can see those streaks you were talking about. Was Blair able to help?
Hi Paul, I called him and left a message last night. I'm sure we can sort it over the next week or two. Thanks.
