Hi all, I took this image of a rapidly sinking Jupiter as it descended below 34* altitude on a hot Halloween night in Melbourne. The temperature was still about 28 degrees at 8:30 and I was looking over the city, so not ideal conditions for imaging. Anyway, there might be some activity going on with the GRS spewing out a small darkish cloud, but with the poor image quality it's difficult to tell.

Capture details: Celestron Evolution 9.25" SCT with 2.5x Powermate, ASI 224MC, 50% stacked in AS!3 with 3x drizzle, sharpened in Registax, (lots of) final touches in Photoshop Elements, final image 50% larger than captured.

Nicely done ! I had one last try with Jupiter this week and it was a mess. The bushfires west of where I am have really messed the sky up.
