That's excellent for an ED80 Diego !
Is it a doublet or triplet ?
I have the Saxon ED127 FCD100 triplet and think its amazing (apart from the focusser)

This is the ed80, doublet like the Skywatcher, with a 2.5 inch focuser from Moonlite

I think it is a great image, regardless of the scope  but since you took it with a humble ED80 doublet - I would have to git it 5 stars! Great work Diego.

I guess a doublet would be quite adequate for narrowband imaging where you are more than likely re-focussing for the different filters. I might have to give my very 'eavy, very 'umble 500/102 achromat a go with NB

How does the CEM40 guide?

Very nicely done Diego - especially with modest gear!

True, but there is still out of band signal leaking through even the best narrowband filters during longer exposures - it was readily visible around brighter stars with my ED doublet and 3nm Astrodons, so I would expect significant halos around brighter stars with achromat even with the best 3nm filters, and sharpness will most likely be also reduced in the extended objects.

Thanks mate, i worked harder than usual on the process, but happy with the result...
I refocus every 5 subs, every new filter and ever 2 deg C...
I am happy to say the encoder on RA is really effective, this little mount has GPS, home sensors, the encoder and nice build quality. guiding was between 0.5 to 1.1 total rms, seeing was all over the place but the end result seems to be usable...
I guess what matters is to have fun with any equipment.
Hummm i will have to find an acromat refractor to try my hand.... only for science's sake :D
