Hey guys.

Since the discovery of this amazing autostitch (http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1746) program, it gave me incentive to process some avi's that I took back on the 1st Feb 2005.

I'd already processed and posted the partial lunar mosaic (http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=786) taken on the same night; the difference is, those ones back then were with my 2x barlow @ 2500mm FL. The ones I processed today were at prime focus (1250mm FL) and there was so many avi's I just wasn't inspired to process them until autostitch came along. The thought of manually stitching together all the images didn't excite me.

Anyway here's the result of this mornings processing work - 35 avi's, created 35 tiff's, coverted into 35 jpegs, fed through autostitch and 4 minutes later, out popped this.

Unfortunately I missed capturing a few small areas.. oh well, next time! :)

Details (as best as I can remember):
- Captured: 1st Feb 2005, processed today
- 10" dob (no tracking) with ToUcam @ 1250mm FL (prime)
- Seeing 7-8/10
- 10fps
- 35 frame mosaic

Nice image Mike, very crisp and clear. I like the darkness to the maria, gives a real indication of the size of the impact basins.

Good work Mike, it's a shame you didn't get all of it.
