Old Sony Video 8 Handycam

Hey guys,

rather than just chuck out this old beastie, I was wondering if any of you guys might know if these still have some value to anyone out there?

I ask because quite some time ago, I was gonna chuck out an old Olympus OM10 and associated odds and sods, but decided to try flog them (on here I think). To my great surprise there were a few enquiries, and someone took the lot.

So even though this handycam is no use to me, it might be of some small value to someone.

Any thoughts guys ?

I've still got two of the Sony's at home that still work perfectly.
Mine have the Night Vision capabilities and they are great for recording wildlife in the dead of night, Roos, Koalas and Possums etc.

However I have not used them now for over 5 years.

EDIT: The reason I have two is, one got stolen from my car, so I bought another one, but the Police notified me 6 months later they had located it (I engraved my name/phone number on it) and I got it back.
