For sale is a JMI NTT 30 inch folded Newtonian. This is a rare opportunity to purchase a really large quality scope. This would suit keen amateurs or astro societies. The folded Newtonian provides a convenient viewing position compared to a regular Newt design requiring large ladders or steps to reach the eyepiece. The mount is an Alt-Az design as shown in the images with a GoTo system. The scope has been unused for a number of years and the primary mirror would be best recoated for ideal performance. Various Teleview eyepieces are also included. The scope is located in Sydney NSW. Buyer to arrange pickup. There is also a 6 metre motorised Sirius dome currently housing the instrument which would require disassembly and transport.
