Hi Guys,

taken on Friday night with the unmodded 350d, here's M83 with the Celestron NGT10 f4.7 autoguided ED80 and meade DSI II. consist of 10 x 5 minutes exposure at ISO800 . Missed out taking flats nor darks. ... till next time.

Not long ago, i gave M83 a shot with the baader UHC-S filter inplace. I guess the UHC-S filter doesn't work too well on galaxies.

Hi Eric,
Thats much better than your last effort, great detail, good colour, focus is spot on (I like the diffraction spikes on the bright stars) with a wide field camera at F 4.5 too, plus an unmodded 350D, amazing, I see you are going to change cameras, maybe a QHY8 ???.

cheers...............Jim

hmmm or maybe just a modded 350D :) not quite sure at this stage but am leaning towards a 350d already modded.
