I'm gearing up for M31 this weekend. So I pulled apart my mount, cleaned and relubed it. And gave it a test on 47Tuc monday night just to check everything was working. Well it did eventually and I managed to get under 0.6"rms guiding - which I don't think I've ever had, ever. Must have been

So here's the result with an 80mm refractor, ASI071 with a UV/IR filter - 54min of 90sec subs. Full shot with a few surrounding fuzzies and a zoom.

Looks like the mount and everything else is working very well - nice star colours.

Well done !
I enjoy imaging both but prefer to image 47Tuc than Omega as I seem to get better results
Can’t wait to see your M31

Nice one Chris, sharp round stars to the edge, I wish I could achieve same. Lookin forward to your M 31.:thumbsup:
