Looks like a small group again this time.
5 advised as interested as of today.
That leaves plenty of space for last.minute.comers
Nearly time to start packing.

Thankyou very much for the invite Allan.
The lack of water at Bretti has been of concern.
I will float the idea.

Just to complete the Loop:
The proposed Bretti camp is off.
Thanks to the above kind invitation (thanks Allan), we have moved the venue.

(This is a private property and different protocols are appropriate).

Monday night was good. Tuesday Wednesday Thursday cloud cleared intermittently. But Thursday we witnessed a Black Widow rising like a Phoenix from its newly completed den. Very Impressive.

I saw that there has been a significant fire up Bretti way over this past fire week. Checking the RFS website it would appear the fire is still out of control and has affected the Thunderbolt Way from Tibbuc, through the Bretti houses and the Bretti Reserve.. Reserve Road was mentioned. The RFS map shows the burn out area North of the Manning River and the entire Reserve looks to have been shaded as burnt.
Also I note that Nundle was impacted by another fire, and those of us that have been up there will know that area.
