Hi All

Is there, or dose someone know of a site where one can enter a lenses serial no number and find out the age of a lens.

I would be after the Canon Lenses.

Thank You.

Cheers leon

This is the only thing I've come across, mind you I was looking for the same thing about Pentax lenses at the time.

Not that up to date, but may give a clue.

I'm looking into it and get back to you Leon.

BTW did you know that with the Takahashi scopes, the serial number is made up of the year xx, month xx and unit number x of manufacture.
