An early Losmandy G11S (Digital drive with encoders - back when they were marketed via Celestron)
Asking WAS $2450. NOW $1750
It has nearly every conceivable upgrade.
* Reinforcing gussets to stiffen up the RA drive angle adjustment (these were made by a previous owner, but have been done very well)
* Metal motor covers upgrade.
* Single piece worm with adjustment screw upgrade.
* DSC encoders on both axis (8192 steps)
* Polar scope
* 21 lb Losmandy Counterweight
* Original pre upgrade parts and screws included
Also included is a Pelican 1560 rolling case for the head + electronics.
The mount is setup with a dedicated pier, with two choices of height (to match a refractor or a newtonian) - This is an ideal setup for a heavy visual or moderately heavy imaging setup. Again the pier was made by a previous owner, but is very well done and unbelievably solid.
The whole setup has of course been transported and used and shows some small wear and tear marks, but the condition is really excellent and we have enjoyed using it very much. Add any DSC of your choice (Argo Navis or Nexus etc).
I can bring it up to the Vic Desert South star party this weekend coming, or it's a pick up job from Brunswick West in Melbourne. Too many parts and too much weight to ship I'm afraid.
