posting my first pic here. I feel this one is worthy.
its actually 4 images each about 2000 frames stacked of the moon on sunday night.
taken with zwo asi224 and ed100.
no real post processing bar joining the pics with GIMP.
quite happy with the result, except for during change to jpg it ruined it a bit.,

Looks good! You've handled the changes in luminance across the surface well. Nice one

Excellent..you better give classes and I want a front row seat.

Somehow get rid of the blow out crater rims...small...minimal in fact...but that is why I say it cause your image is near perfect. I think some time in Photoshop or whatever could make your image perfect.
Alex

Try the dodge tool to take away the white bright rims maybe.

Cracking effort Steve. My eyes were drawn to the horizon and the detail at the edge. Excellent work !

Beautifully framed and captured at the right phasing
A touch higher in contrast and brightness would have exposed a bit more detail near the terminator
Well done you should be proud of this image !!

Thanks very much guys for the positive feedback.
Never really appreciated the work that goes into this, but I’m having a lot of fun doing it. Very satisfying to see the final results.

:welcome: to the forum Steve & congratulations on your first post.
There are others here who can offer more advice on Planetary imaging than I can,
however you've posted a very credible image IMO. The more you do the easier it gets.
Cheers,
Tony
