About 6 hours of luminance and 30 mins each of RGB. Taken with an RC8 and ZWO ASI1600MM-C on a Mach1 in the southern Flinders Ranges in SA.
Astrobin version is here (https://www.astrobin.com/95up29).
First of 3 images from 5 consecutive nights of sleeplessness - why do we do this hobby?!!! More processing to do this weekend :)
Comments welcome.

Not the easiest of galaxies to capture but you've done well on it Paul :)

Thanks for sharing this Paul. I always find NGC 55 a rather strange object. It is sort of like the ugly one that gets put in a corner but has hidden beauty and features that just need to be explored.

Nice work Paul, some good resolution in the galaxy, it's a good one for that, so big and close. You have processed it in such a way that it has quite a 3D look...cool
Envious of your location :prey2:

Like I said elsewhere Paul, nice image, colour looks good and detail is very sharp. Well done.

Thank you Paul.
Thanks Mike. Yeah, nice up in the Flinders. Though quite a way to drive up there from Adelaide - I need a remote observatory! :)
Thanks Rodney. Yeah, I've never really liked the look of NGC 55 or of NGC 253. And I imaged both last weekend - trying to change my mind about them!
