Up for sale Skywatcher 80mm Refractor D=80mm F=400mm.
Has some superficial wear on the exterior tube such as minor scratches & black paint chipped off. Wear due to age & exposure to the elements in use, not from being damaged or dropped.
Scope has original end cap, 90 degree diagonal (correct image).
Diagonals end cap is lost in space, an old 10mm cheap & well used plossl is currently posing as the endcap :lol: (& comes with the scope in the sale)
Does not come with finderscope, or tripod (they are too far gone, any potential reusable parts from them are in one of many spare parts boxes)
This scope might be good for a beginner looking to get started in amateur astronomy. It also works great as a finder scope in itself. (I have another one of these being used for just that purpose on our Dob)
I can attach original rings if they are wanted or needed (just let me know yay or nay). Rings also have some black paint chipped off.
Optics are really quite good, impressive for such a little scope. Of course better ep's & accessories used in it greatly improve viewing & detail (just saying).
