Finally had some time to get some more Astrofest image processing done. I haven't attempted NGC5139 for a long time so thought I'd give it a try this year.
This image is 1.6 hours LRGB through the SN10.

Comments and advice always welcome.
Wow, that's a lot of stars and contrast Peter.
It really pops towards the centre, almost like looking at it in a big scope.
I think both M brothers would say you've respected the light on that one :D

Thanks Rob. Still trying to remember how to process however I feel like my results from this year are better than previous ones. I need to find some time to play with PI again.
Cheers Dave.
Thanks Mike. I have 7 AF data sets in total however I don't think they are all equal in the quality of the raw data. My favourite so far is the M8 I posted first. I did a couple of NB images this year for a change but need to learn how to process these better. I haven't done any sharpening of images so far but will take a look at that when I have time.
Know how you feel about processing - when you get better data you want the best from it. I seem to end up going sideways and reading about various PI processes and workflows endlessly each year doing AF processing.
Probably a good thing....? :)
