Ngc7000 and friends

I did some experimenting tonight since it was partly cloudy. A taller tripod might just get me above those wires :)

this is just 3x5 minutes with the 61edph and D5600.

I rather wires than lights. A little bit of the magic clone tool will get this one back on track. Nice work again.

I tried the clone tool but wasn't doing very well, so I used spot heal which was easier - just a rough job as I'll try to collect more frames.

Neighbours sensor lights ruined some frames, shining straight into the objective because the scope is pointed so low.

The fact that you managed to image NGC7000 from Victoria is to be commended and it is not to shabby at all. Would hate to see the state of your hard drive, you certainly have been busy lately, pumping out lots of images. All helps to hone the techniques involved.
Keep them coming, enjoy seeing them.

Thanks Jeff. I get complaints from family members about the cluttered desktop, not only the monitor but little sticky notes all over the desk :)

I use lights only for all of my images and they're OSC so that helps keep the file numbers down - still disorganised though.

Sorry my bad cloning was just a figure of speech but you're right that spot healing is much better for this situation. Neighbours, everybody needs good neighbours. Sometimes I wonder if my neighbours are any good. Good job on the recovery. :thumbsup:
