Been ages since i've done any lunar imaging.

I finished up a Jupiter session on the 14th Feb with a few moon avi's. I didn't spend a lot of time on it as the seeing was not good and my collimation was off, and it was time to pack up and go to work.

I'm not terribly pleased with these images and I haven't even bothered to look up what the names of these features are :)

But it was good to image the moon again, and i'm looking forward to having another go after full moon when the moon is up in the early morning and when it's higher in the sky (it's very low in the north at the moment).

Thanks

Hi Iceman

Excellent lunar shots - I have not had a chance to get out there - particularly with the series of storms we are having. I need a few days off to get back into it.

As always -even the shots that you say your not pleased - they manage to still look fantastic.

Cheers Petra

Always nice to see images of old Luna. The Vallis Schroter looks nice in this lighting.

Cheers
