This was my last image of the night with very poor transparency, but being directly overhead allowed me to still pull a decent image.
15x7 minutes, TS115, L-Enhance filter, d5600 @ ISO 400

Very nice, smooth image there & good detail for what would be considered a relatively short exposure for this object.
To start capturing the faint outer structures you'd need many hours of exposure.

The problem I have is that there are too many objects I want to image and not enough clear sky, so I tend to flit from one to the next :)
I did go back to IC4685 last night and get more data to add to an old image - saving the best for last hopefully :)

Nothing wrong with that.
It doesn't matter how much data you capture on the Helix you'll always wish you had more :lol:
