View Full Version here: : New entry and first light with BORG APO60ED
Hello to everyone. I'm pleased to join to this forum. Reading some threads I noted friends already known :)
I'm Italian astroimager (I'm imaging with CCD and digital cameras just from 1 year) and my equipment is:
Meade 14" LX200GPS on equatorial superwedge;
Celestron Achro GT102 f/5
BORG APO60ED on EQ6 SW
and soon BORG APO100ED with 0,85x reducer/corrector
My interests are: High resolution planetary imaging and DSO imaging.
I matured a good experience in the planetary imaging but I have to enlarge again my experience. So I'm happy to share my tech and images here.
Regards, Anto
P.S.: Attached you'll find the first light of the BORG APO60ED used on moon unfortunately with many high and sharp clouds. The contrast is excellent although the clouds.

:) wow thanks to Ron, Ken, Ric & Paul. Nice to meet someone talks in Italian language.
Capua is very near to Naples about 40km.
I work in Milan from monday to friday and every weekends I have my time to get home and to image something in the sky (when the sky is good).
The image posted is just a test of my new guiding scope BORG APO60ED.
I use the Meade 14" for the HiRes purpose.
