Following from Alex and his excellent example here is some more Paw.
My first plunge into the vortex of RGB .

One on a very moonlit night processed with PI , so a little more subtle detail perhaps, and another thrown into Nebulosity in a windy sky with double R data.

Not sure what I am doing here and why I am out under the moon in the wind except to get ready for those perfect nights coming our way real soon.

All about 2 or 3 minutes in an hour total at gain 140 asi1600. Too long , too short too few?

Great image but it's upside down..or is it..well done. It's not the easiest of things to capture and in my view you have not arrived until this one is under your belt.

You are correct about the orientation. The Paw is pouncing rather than the usual orientation where the Claw is clawing.

As the dark emu at this time of year is looking the other way over at the eggs perhaps that is ok in the Southern Hemishpere.

And if my camera is up the other way the USB cable gets in the way.

Shame I can’t can’t quite fit the lobster but perhaps a multi panel image would work.
