In times past, I've been led to believe that Astromart charges a monthly fee ( or Yearly ) to be a Member of the Forum.

It used to be owned by a previous person, and the new owner starting charging a ' yearly ' Membership Fee .

Is this the case ... or not.

I thought it changed many years back , I could never get a single reply to wanting to buy an item so never bothered in time .

I paid it for a few years...in all, I only bought probably 3 items and sold 5, so probably was worth it. Having said that, nearly everything is available here, once you know who to ask or wait for the classifieds.

With USPS rates gone astronomical (HE HE), it's almost no longer worth hunting the US market. Sure, I got the FCT-100 (pure unobtainium here), but postage back then was $85 for the scope. Now, that's almost letter rate from the US... :(
