Still working my way through the more common DSO's. M17, the Swan/ Omega Nebula, 21x600 sec. acquired with Nebulosity IV, using SBIG 8300 c, FLT 98 & autoguiding with PHD, processed(too much perhaps) in Photoshop CS2. Comments welcome & thanks for looking.
Cheers,
Tony

Well done Tony.
I said more in reply to your nice comments in my Orion thread...I am having problems staying logged in for some reason...it gets in a loop between log in redirect and back to log in..over and over but only did it just now about four times whereas lately I just have to give up and just read stuff and go.
Again well done.

Hi Tony , I like the colour and detail.A far wider FOV than I can achieve . I note that having perfectly black sky is not imperative to the visual experience. May be I'm loosing too much data when trying to kill LP???

Thanks for your comments guys,
Alex, I was having the same problems staying logged in until I emptied my PM box.
Martin  re comments on the detail & framing.
Tony & Wes, I appreciate your feedback on the colours & yes Wes, trying to eliminate LP can cost you data. casstony is using the L enhance LP filter to good effect, maybe that's the way to go.
Cheers,
Tony

Hi Tony, I’ve had a look at the specs and a very recent comparison between the L-ehance and L-pro filters . Due to short exposures I sometime don’t get enough stars to be able to stack with DSS so will think about getting the L-pro filter. Thx for your suggestions. https://www.nightskydan.com/optolong-l-enhance-filter-review/
