I KNOW it is a stupid question but
I am making some centre columns for my tripod save swapping three heads over on one column all the time, I need to drill holes in the centre
How would you find the centre please, thanks

Cheers - I actually showed my Y7 Maths class how to do this using a pair of compasses and straight edge this week!

Just a compass set to half the diametre (radius). Run any arc from any point on the circle and they will all intersect at the center. :thumbsup:

Similar to your 45deg square, this is a set of 3: Protractor, ruler, square and V-block. The V Block is used to mark centres, since the ruler edge passes through the centre of the V (Top left in the Image attached). See eBay....
