I found the focus point quite critical at F2.8 so some of the subs were a little softer than i would have liked. Might try motorizing the rig amd see if that helps.
Suggestions welcome, thanks for looking

An excellent example of great astrophotography.
Accurate colour, great dynamic range (while still respecting the light) and photogenic framing.
Well done

Thanks Marc, I think the 17 hours of data helped
Was hoping you'd put this up soon Geoff. Fantastic work - looks even more amazing in the full res version than the glimse at AF. You must be very happy indeed with this one. :)

A great image composition and processing. I find with my (14mm) Samyang f2.8 lens that I need to stop it down three stops to f5.6 to avoid some of the lens aberration. Helps with the focusing as well. Thanks for posting

Just a beautiful image, Geoff. Love the blues and the ghostly form of the horse's head - quite mesmerising! Nu Scorpii, by the way, is a septuplet star, (I always find that to be amazing too)Well done.

Such an interesting field this one, some lens induced distortions are softening it a little but nicely handled colour Geoff, well done.

Thanks for the star info Richard. Glad you liked the image
Appreciate your comments Mike. Yes, i think there is some coma and tilt in the rig. More testing when the moon clears.

Very nice Geoff. The only suggestion I would make is that you need a mosaic to to bring the blue neb at the top into the picture

Very nice hoovering of that faint dust Geoff. It does look like a horse in full gallop.
