I took this one at the last Wiruna weekend. Peter was complaining about 3" seeing. Well, I was hitting close to 4", so I had to do almost criminal things with deconvolution.

The pic is here: https://www.astrobin.com/420132/

Total exposure time was 2.5 hours in each of Ha, OIII and SII, but so far I've only done the Ha version.

Bin 2 x 2, FLI Proline 16803, AP900mount, 12.5" PlaneWave.

Well captured field of Ha Geoff showing lots of detail and whisps of nebulosity extending to the corners of the image. This orientation always looks like a celestial nose to my eye :D

Certainly looks like a salvageable data set Geoff, despite the untimely Wiruna wobbles  I can see the decon effects in places but you have camouflaged'em pretty well ;)

Very deep result for 2.5 hours. The "cygnet" at bottom right came out really well - all wet and feathers and straight out of the egg.

We think you got away with the decon. To the casual eye it looks great, and needs must.
