Hi again all
This is another shot I took last week under the skies of Coonabarabran which were cloudy and wet but all was not lost.
Exposure time was 9 x 15 minutes shot with the SXV-H9C through the ZS 110 guided with the ZS 66SD on an AP600E.
Capture align & combine in AA3 and all post processing done in CS2 and of cause a larger image can be found at my site for those who are interested.

Hi Louie
That is a beautiful image of M83. I cannot recollect seeing one where the galaxy arms were so dense – the knots and dark lanes are fantastic.
Cheers

Beautiful structure and colour, on my favourite object. Thanks for sharing Louie. You seem to be spending a lot of time in Coona. It's paying off by the look of this one.

Hi geoffrey, :welcome: to IIS. You live just around the corner from me!
What sort of advice did you want? It might be best to start a new thread rather than go off-topic in Louie's great M83 thread.

Hi Geoffryey ! welcome to IIS mate!
You'll find lots of help here mate and I'm sure you'll have a ball as well.
Good advice from the Iceman though(his the big boss here) the beginners forum would be a great place to start and of cause your still always welcome to jump in my threads too.

Louie,
Lovely work and one of the best M83 images I have seen from a 4" scope. Lovely round stars so the mount is obviously tracking beautifully.
