Great shot Marc although it does have a green bias ;)

I like it, as it's not easy being green :)

Hi Marc

The density of stars in the "big one" is quite crushing; crushing to the ego that is, but uplifting to my soul.:)

Lovely work.

Cheers

Very nice - especially in hi res!
(I pixel peeped and spotted some....pixels!)

Thanks Dennis. Too right it's a bucket load of stars. I reckon to see gaps in between even at long FL it would be a challenge. I'll revisit the little dark cloud and cluster in the center with the CN-212 at prime and see if I can separate all the little bits.

Thanks Pete!
:eyepop: Did you find hot pixels left over? Gotta admit I did darks and that PI Cosmetic thingy but haven't really checked if there are any left. Would be a bit of a "where's wally?" exercise.

Thanks Geoff. Good catching up with you this year again. Take care.

Thanks Mike. Yeah I really like this dark patch and blue cluster embedded in the golden starfield. It's always caught my eye when doing widefields of the Sagittarius area. I definitely want to do a long FL RGB close up of it with the CN-212 when time and seeing allow.

Thanks Ross. Yes 10 days allows you to always collect enough data regardless of a couple of cloudy nights. Always been lucky going up there. Never had any major drama with the weather. Although I could have done with two extra nights, Wednesday and Thursday that were cloudy despite the forecast. But there's a lot of people to chat with and we always kept busy.
